Yo, lemme get on this soapbox for a sec...

So I get that "streetwear" is really popular right now. It's fairly apparent when surf brands and mall stores start using the monkier to describe their new collections that it really has reached the masses. For me, I cringe when I hear the term used. It's really nothing more than current hype, just like there was for Sean John and Ecko in the late 90's, or dressing like a wannabe rock star in the early 2000's (even though there are still a few guys out there wearing eyeliner...).
