pandora.com

So I know nowadays there are a lot of these "internet radio" stations floating around the interweb. I think I've found the best one. Pandora.com is awesome and has saved my sanity while working 10 and 12 hour days. Similar to the way amazon.com will suggest items you may also like, pandora compiles a playlist of various artists that share complementary styles with artists you chose. For instance, if you chose " A Tribe Called Quest", pandora will compile a playlist of similar mid 90's, jazzy hip hop artists. It rarely repeats songs and the suggestions are usually spot on. If you aren't feeling their picks, you can skip the song or even mark it so it wont get played again. You can make stations out of artists, genres, songs even words.

A few of my favorite stations:
1)PIXIES
2)JAWBREAKER
3)KOOL KEITH
4)PREFUSE 73
5)ORGANIZED KONFUSION

A few of Gregg's favorite's:
1)STUFF BRIAN'S GRANDMOTHER LISTENS TO
2)SONGS THAT WERE POPULAR 4 YEARS AGO
3)LOVER'S LAMENT GARBAGE

Niki and Robin get a lot of play out of the MGMT ,Misfits and Bjork stations.

Check out this fantastic free site if you haven't yet. It's great if you are studying or cleaning the house or folding tee shirts all day.
