Don't pay us in Romanian Lei

So a friend of ours just got back from Romania and gave me a 50 "Lei" note just to have. I thought it was actual real money, and kind of felt bad for taking it, but he assured me it wasn't much. Using "XE.COM" I found out he was right, 50 Romanian Lei is equal to 0.00154 of one US dollar. Why even print it...bizarre...
